El Dorado Waterfall Expedition 2022

Come and participate of a mythological adventure in the Brazilian Amazon, where you will know the legendary El Dourado Waterfall, which alludes to the land of dreams by the Spanish colonists of the 16th century, who believed in the existence of a city with golden streets and incalculable riches. The gateway to know it is the city of Barcelos, 534 km from Manaus, known for its river beaches on the bank of the Rio Negro.

Rich in biodiversity and famous for its sport fishing season, the Serra do Aracá with 1,818,700 ha (18,187 km²), to get an idea of the size, the City of São Paulo has less than 153,000 ha, almost 12 cities in São Paulo. The season for this dream expedition lasts for at least 7 nights, and can be held from Saturday to Saturday, from February to August, a period that includes the flooding of the Rivers and favors the navigability of the Rivers.

Note: To make the Expedition it`s required a minimum of 04 people on thre group. The groups are formed according clients demand

1º day:

• 12:00 pm – The boat departs from Barcelos city sailing 30 hours along the Aracá River

2º day :

• 05:00 pm – Arrival and overnight on boat on the Aracá River next the Igarapé Preto chaneel

3º day :

• 07:00 am – Departure by boat on Igarapé Preto, 5 hours sailing
• 02:30 pm – Start of the climb trail to the mountains, 4 hours of hiking.
• Overnight at the foot of the mountain.

4º day :

• 06:30 am – Beginning climbing the mountains, 4 hours of hiking
• 11:00 am – Prevision of arrival at the top of the mountain ( watching the Desabamento Waterfall),
• 02:00 pm- walk on the range towards the Eldorado waterfall, 2 hours walking to arrive 04: 00 pm
• Set up the Camp and Overnight and contemplation of the view

5º day :

• View contemplation ///  Pictures
• 02:00 pm – Departure from the top of the mountain, 4 hours of hiking.
• 06:00 pm  – Departure , 4 hours of hiking.

6º day :

• 06:30 am – Departure , 4 hours of hiking.
• 11:00 am to 12:00 pm – Arrival at the point of embarkation for the boat.
• Short break for lunch, and departure by boat, 4 hours
• 04:00 pm – Arrival forecast on the boat and departure by the Aracá River

7º day:

• – Full day sailing

8º day :

• – Arrival prevision in Barcelos Morning (to get the boat or plane to Manaus)
